In keeping with the theme of Whisky Live Paris 2012 – the relationship betweens spirits brands and time – The Balvenie has titled its Masterclass “The effects of Maturation: Spirit, Cask and Time.” By taking part in this special tasting session, you will follow the development of The Balvenie 30 YO, from birth to coming of age. You will also get to meet David Stewart, one of the living legends of whisky, who will be honouring Whisky Live Paris with his presence, having recently celebrated fifty years in the industry.

One of a small number of distilleries of truly mythical stature, Karuizawa was built in 1955 in the town of the same name, situated in the midst of the Japanese Alps. Having ceased all production in 2000, the number of available bottlings is becoming increasingly rare. Dave Broom, expert on Japanese whisky and Marcin Miller, European Director of Number One Drinks and one half of the company to have bought all remaining stock of this fabled distillery, will present a selection of some of the best examples of this most sought-after single malt.

Ottimo suggerimento per la prossima degustazione dove stapperai le tue cosi' ci farai partecipi. Il 10 costa 27 euro adesso, quindi con 120 euro ce la caviamo. Io mi imbuchero' come giornalista a qualcuno di quelli meno prestigiosi di lunedi' (sempre che arrivi l'accredito...)
